About

My name is Diane Kunas, I run Continental Canine Behaviour as a behaviour practitioner, obedience trainer & advisor.   My purpose is to nurture well-balanced, happy dogs & owners and I approach every case as the unique one-of-a-kind that it is!

I am originally from the Midwest where I earned my BA from the University of Michigan.  I was later mentored by the finest canine practitioners  in the UK where I earned my Masters degree in the psychology of dog breed behaviour Middlesex University, London, England.

I maintain a full membership from the Canine & Feline Behaviour Association (CFBA) of Great Britain and am editor of the CFBA magazine.  I am certified through the Cambridge Institute of Dog Behaviour & Training (CIDBT), where I also distance tutor Understanding Canine Behaviour & Care, Introduction to Pet Bereavement, Advanced Pet Bereavement, and Dog Breed Specific Behaviour.  I also tutor the Pet Education Training & Behaviour Council (PETbc) Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses.

I am now based in Seattle!  In addition to my private practice, I am also contracted by Strut the Pup as Lead Behavior Trainer and Boo Boo Barkery & Boutique in Kirkland where I teach puppy, basic and advanced obedience training classes.  Two wonderful organisations that I am happy  to recommend!

PS –  I  am the proud owner a Boxer and  Dogue de Bordeaux (French Mastiff), two of my favourite teachers!
